Brandon Alcott teaches private polo lessons in the Portland, OR area year-round, and also coaches teams in the area. In addition to teaching pony club groups (and some parents), Brandon coached a team comprised of students from St. Mary’s Academy in Portland, coaches the Oregon State University polo team, and also coaches the Rose City Polo Club’s Interscholastic teams. These teams have had many successes, competing at the regional and national level against other interscholastic and intercollegiate teams.
If you’re interested in taking private or group lessons, Brandon is available to teach by appointment. If you would like to play interscholastic polo, Brandon is always looking to grow the program in the Portland area. Players do not have to attend the same high school, but must be academically eligible to compete. If you’re interested in playing intercollegiate polo, Oregon State University has an established team, and they are always looking for new members (no prior experience necessary). Other collegiate teams in the northwest include Washington State University, the University of Idaho, and Montana State University. If you are attending college in Portland or Salem, Brandon may be able to assist you in forming a new team. Feel free to contact him!
